Get-in

Thursday 12th September: 7pm to 10:30pm - Grid Shift, Lighting Rig & Scene Dock Prep. On Thursday evening we will be doing the grid shift and over stage lighting rig on stage and preparing the scene dock for the arrival of the car on Friday (we need to build a platform in the scene pit and rearrange handrails etc.) It would be great to see lots of people on this evening and there will be plenty to do for everyone from experienced Penguins to those will no theatre experience   Friday 13th September: Daytime - 10am to 6pm  approx. - Car Get In and additional prep. We have already assembled a small team to assist the passage of the hired car from the yard, through the scene dock and to be trap flown to stage. However if you are free and would like to join the team, please get in touch with me and I'll let you know the details. Also if you might be able to drop in at short notice should we unexpectedly need extra hands, please let the team know.   Saturday 14th September: 9am onwards - Main Get In Day The hired set arrives at 9am on Saturday morning and we will need many hands to get it into the theatre and assemble the various flats and trucks and fly a number of large items. We're aiming to have the main set fully assembled by around 3pm, at which point there will be a lighting focus with smaller tasks continuing through the rest of the day. Alongside this there will be a band area to set up and a sound get in going on in the wing, starting once we have assembled enough set to create the space. There will be lots to do for anyone of any skill level, no experience necessary   Sunday 15th September: Timings TBC - Small tasks & Technical Rehearsal On Sunday we will continue to work through smaller tasks alongside a technical rehearsal. Full timings are still being confirmed, more details nearer the time.
