Terra Nova

Terra Nova is the story of Captain Robert Falcon Scott's expedition to the South Pole and his discovery that Amundsen had preceded him. The play provides fateful glimpses of Scott and his companions, Wilson, Bowers, Oates and Evans as well as Amundsen and Scott's wife, Kathleen. Relating with chilling intensity the awesome bravery of men who must accept the bitter knowledge that suffering and death will be the only reward for their heroism, and vividly illustrating the best and worst in our natures.
