Lolworth Silo Sort-Out

 If you're needing a break from the Easter run of shows, we've something different to offer from our friends at BAWDS and Combined... They've just scheduled a sort out of their treasure-trove of a furniture store at Lolworth which has provided the sets for their shows for decades.  This is a great opportunity to explore what's out at the Lolworth facility and meet some of the BAWDS & Combined members too, all while doing a little tidying up!

We'll be there on 27th & 28th April from 10am-4pm and any time you could drop by to lend us a hand shuffling chairs, evicting chaises and setting tables, we'd be very grateful. Even an hour would be useful!    Although we're hoping for glorious sunshine, this is the UK(!), so do check the weather before coming out and dress sensibly.  Any major threat of rain will mean we have to postpone the event and we'll be sending out confirmation a day or so beforehand so do look out for that.  Grabbing a pair of gloves as you head out to help protect your hands would be useful, though we'll naturally have a few spare pairs available too.  

If you're a super-sorter and are planning on being with us all day, note that there's no cooking facilities at the farm for lunch, though water for hot and cold drinks etc is available, and a variety of snacks will be too! (I'm open to requests!)

Hill Farm is now very easily accessible following the A14 upgrade by both car and bike - the bike path is now off road from the top of Huntingdon Road so it's much, much safer!   If you don't have your own wheels don't think this excludes you as lifts can definitely be arranged from Bar Hill which is accessible by bus, and can potentially be arranged from town too - just let me know what you need!  If you let me know you're able to make it, I can drop over more detailed directions. 

As Lolworth is jointly owned by BAWDS and Combined as well as used by the Penguins this event has been advertised to those groups too, so we're hoping this will be a nice sociable event with a bit of sorting thrown in as a bonus!
