The Penguin Club have made a group booking for one of the regular Public Astronomy Evenings run by the Institute of Astronomy at Cambridge University. These evenings consist of a half-hour lecture, the topic of which on the night of our booking is The Universe in a Box), followed by a chance (if the weather is clear) to look through some of the Institute's historical telescopes, and look at video projection from modern telescopes with commentary by the Cambridge Astronomical Association.

The lecture starts promptly at 7:15pm, and the observing is normally finished by 9pm, at which point we may well head to one of the curry houses on Castle Hill to get some food and warm up again!

Please contact Andrew Booker if you'd like to attend.
